Compatible Systems: - Works with 85% of HVAC systems, including single-stage 1 heat and 1 cool systems, gas or oil heat, electric furnaces, heat pumps without auxiliary heat, and cool/heat-only systems (floor or wall furnaces). - Does not support 110V/220V systems. Before purchasing, check the wiring diagrams in the #4 main image to ensure compatibility. - Our thermostat only supports conventional systems and heat pump systems with no more than 6 wires: RC, RH, C, G, W/O/B, and Y. - Before installation, take a photo of your existing wiring connections for reference, and use sticky tags to label each wire as you disconnect it.

Power Supply Requirements: - 24VAC power supply is required. The C-wire is the primary power source for the thermostat and is essential for proper operation. - Battery power is not supported. Without a C-wire, the thermostat will not power on (e.g., the LCD will not light up), and it cannot be used in your system. - Before purchasing, check if a C-wire is already installed in your home or determine if you need a C-wire power adapter, sold separately.

Wiring Solutions: - If you don't have a C-wire, check if there's an unused wire that can be used as the C-wire. Connect it to the C terminal on the thermostat and the control board of your HVAC system. - If there's no extra wire available, you can use the G-wire as the C-wire for a gas or propane furnace, or a heat pump without auxiliary heat. Connect the G-wire to the C terminal, then use a jumper wire to connect the W (or Y) terminal to the G terminal for fan control. This solution does not support oil furnaces.

Cautions: - Carefully check system compatibility before purchasing. - Read the installation manual and wiring diagrams carefully before installation. Improper wiring can damage the thermostat. - If the thermostat doesn't power on after installation, check for compatibility issues. If compatible, check the 24VAC power supply or consider hiring an HVAC technician for installation.

Additional Notes: - The LCD backlight will automatically turn off after about 30 seconds of inactivity, but will illuminate again when any button is pressed. - The thermostat's system clock will automatically synchronize with your connected smartphone when the WiFi connection is successful.
