Almost ALL furnace filters have a different "actual size" than the nominal size printed on the air filter, so it's best to measure your air filter for the EXACT size and compare it to the "Actual Size". Particularly with the 4" and 5" air filters, there is a wider variance between the nominal and actual size depending on the manufacturer. These Pure Carbon Pleated Air Filters are made with a durable non-woven polyester base media infused with naturally derived charcoal, created to eliminate odors in your office or home. Our Pure Carbon air filters are manufactured using heavy duty, moisture resistant beverage board frame, with a metal mesh support grid bonded to the pleats for extra support.
